New COO in ECIT
ECIT has experienced a solid growth during the recent years. The company, which was founded in 2013 by Peter Lauring, will finish off 2020 with an annual turnover of 2 billion NOK.
The team is now strengthened by the addition of Christine Lundberg Larsen, who has more than 20 years of experience within management, communications, sales, and innovation. Christine, who comes from the role of General Manager in Regnskap Norge, joins ECIT as COO and will start in May 2021. Among other things, she will be responsible for group functions such as HR, marketing, sales, and business development.
Within the last couple of years, Christine has also taken the initiative and been leading the work of developing a Nordic standard of sustainability reporting for SMB. Therefore, she will be responsible for developing this business area in ECIT.
« I am, of course, pleased that ECIT as a group attracts an experienced and dynamic leader like Christine. The experience she brings along from PWC, Gjensidige, and most recently Regnskap Norge, will strengthen ECIT. At ECIT we look forward to developing the business together with Christine. » says Peter Lauring, CEO of ECIT.
The opportunity to work across IT and finance
« It is impressive how ECIT has succeeded with a strong growth combined with sensible profitability. The company has a unique history which started with a clear vision of building an organization based on strong entrepreneurship. Through conversations with Peter and others from ECIT, I have become very motivated and I am looking forward to join this team. » says Christine Lundberg Larsen.
« Factors that have been important to me are the ambitions for strong growth, opportunities to work across IT and finance with the customer's needs in focus, and not least an investment in sustainability as a business area.
Therefore, I have agreed to contribute to the further development of ECIT, and at this point I look forward to meeting all my new colleagues in a group that is financially strong and in continued growth. »
